Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cubed watermelon seeded and hulled
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice about 2 lemons
  • 1 cup cucumber slices preferably peeled and sliced
  • 3 tbsp honey or sugar adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients by cutting the watermelon into 1-inch cubes, slicing the cucumber, and juicing the lemons, removing seeds as needed.
    4 cups cubed watermelon, 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice, 1 cup cucumber slices
  2. Add the watermelon cubes, cucumber slices, lemon juice, and honey or sugar into the blender jar. Blend on high speed until smooth and frothy, approximately 30-45 seconds. The mixture should be uniformly pink with no large fruit chunks visible.

  3. Place a fine mesh strainer over a large pitcher. Pour the blended mixture through the strainer, using the back of a spoon to press the liquid through while catching the pulp. Discard any residual pulp and seed bits.
  4. Fill the pitcher with ice cubes to chill the mixture, then stir gently to combine and cool evenly. The drink should appear bright pink, slightly translucent, and chilly.

  5. Serve the watermelon lemonade in glasses garnished with extra cucumber slices or lemon wedges if desired, ensuring each glass is filled with ice and the chilled pink liquid.
