- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion; cook until the beef is browned and onion is translucent, about 8 minutes. - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
- Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the remaining meat sauce over the noodles. Sprinkle with one cup of shredded cheese. Repeat layering: noodles, remaining meat sauce, and another cup of cheese. - Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
