- Prepare the pan: Line with parchment or foil and set aside
- Combine base ingredients: Add sugar, butter, and evaporated milk to a saucepan
- Bring to a boil: Stir constantly over medium heat
- Boil: Continue boiling for several minutes while stirring
- Remove from heat: Work quickly from this point
- Add chocolate and marshmallow creme: Stir until melted and smooth
- Add vanilla and nuts: Mix evenly
- Transfer to pan: Spread evenly
- Cool: Let set completely before slicing
Notes
For a richer flavor, try adding a splash of coffee extract or sprinkling sea salt flakes on top before setting.
